Mombasa 411 can now confirm that Baraka FM’s Fundi Bengo is joining Radio China International’s Kiswahili Service.
This is after we exclusively hinted to you that Radio China are in the market for yet another guy and seemingly they have gotten their man.
Bengo now joins former Radio Salaam star, Ahmed Bahajj @ Radio China who joined them last year.
Sources intimate to Mombasa411 that Bengo will be heading directly to China, hususan mjini Beijing kwenda kujifahamisha mawili matatu kuhusu waajiri wake na filosofia yao ya utendaji kazi.
Pia Mombasa411 imearifiwa kwamba Bengo atakuwa based in Beijing.
Coincidentally, Bengo and Bahajj used to work together @ Radio Salaam.
Speaking to Mombasa411, Fundi Bengo thanked his colleagues and fans at Baraka FM for the support they have given him through the two years he has worked there.
“Wamekuwa watu wa nguvu sana. Nimejifunza mengi sana hapa Baraka FM. Haswa ningependa kumshukuru sana Mkuu wa Idhaa Joe Lughano kwa wakati mwema nimekuwa nao naye.”
On his part, Lughano, who is credited for the current high ratings of Baraka FM, said; “Bengo has been an integral part of the team here at Baraka FM, and he will be missed. However the opportunity was too good to be missed and we had to let him go. He is a great guy and I wish him all the best.”
Bengo, kando na kuhost taarifa za habari hapo Baraka FM alikuwa na kipindi cha usiku kuanzia saa nne hivi….
