A fly on the wall has reliably informed Mombasa411 that Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho’s family has BOUGHT troubled P.C.E.A. Church Owned hotel, Milele Beach Hotel.
The terms of the purchase were not immediately clear, but it is a well known fact that Milele Beach Hotel was in serious default to it’s creditors, something which at one time led to auctioneers seizing the hotel’s assets.
The hotel was at one time developing an ambitious project of Holiday apartments, which has stalled for the past two years…becoming an eyesore at the junction of Bamburi Cement factory road and Mombasa Malindi Highway.
Sources further intimate to Mombasa411 that a lot of horse trading, threats and intimidation from various interested parties took place prior to the operation to take over the hotel, which is soon set for a major branding exercise.
However, we are not sure, as of now, from whom were the threats and intimidation emanating from.
We will publish more details on this story in due course.
Once again, you have read it first on Mombasa411.
